Örebro, the sixth largest city in Sweden, is located on both sides of river Svartån. The river drains into lake Hjälmaren, in which Örebro Castle is built in the middle of the city. Örebro has a rich cultural life with theatres like the Hjalmar Bergman theatre, the Swedish chambers orchestra, as well as the Old and the New Theatre. In the seventies, Örebro had one of the first official gay clubs in Sweden, Gay House. Today, RFSL has a club in the city and drag show group Fashion Pack, has its base here.
