Nacka is situated south east of Stockholm and consists of large housing areas, shopping centres and peaceful natural areas. The largest lake in the area is Järlasjön and along the district is lake Saltsjön. Nearest to Stockholm, Nacka is expanding with new housing areas on old industrial sites, such as Saltsjöqvarn and Finnboda. In Sickla there is a new shopping area and in Nacka you also find open-air establishment Hellasgården with beautiful lake Källtorpssjön. Nacka district borders Stockholm, Värmdö and Tyresö, as well as water boundaries to Lidingö and Vaxholm. The district of Nacka also includes the areas of Saltsjöbaden, Älta and Saltsjö-Boo. You get to Nacka with public transport, either by bus or train Saltsjöbanan from Slussen.
