Sweden has a great history in the sporting events of Track & Field, with Swedish legends as Kajsa Bergqvist, Karolina Klüft, Christian Olsson, Stefan Holm, and current stars such as Irene Ekelund, Emma Green and Abeba Aregawi. Track & Field is one of the most popular sports, both to exercise and to follow.
In EuroGames Stockholm 2015 the Track & Field Championship will take place in the old Olympic stadium "Stadion" in the middle of Stockholm. That's where the 1912 Olympics Games were held.
All the events are to be found just right side of the picture above. The participants will be divided into age groups within each event. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to top three in all events.
