Krabi is the main town in Krabi province in south west Thailand, about 800 kilometres from Bankok. It's a scenic area with the Phi Phi archipelago and in the north part, Khao Phanom Bencha National Park. This area is not as exploited as Phuket and attracts a calmer group of tourists. In 1999 the airport was finished.
