Malmö is the capital of county Skåne. It's the third largest city in Sweden, founded in the 12th century when Skåne was a part of Denmark. The city's new landmark is the building "Turning Torso" located by the Öresund strait. Along the water you find popular summer haunt Ribersborgs bath, and in central Malmö, the most popular places are the squares Gustav Adolfs Torg, Lilla Torg and Möllevångstorget. In the park, Pildammsparken, the inhabitants of Malmö take their spring and autumn walks.
