Pia Sundhage was guest at the TV4 Saturday morning show, Nyhetsmorgon, with host Lasse Bengtsson and talked about her career and the Gold that the USA Womens Soccer team won at the Olympic Games 2008.
For the first time, she also talked openly about being gay. During the TV-show she said that there has been no problem at all to be open as Soccer Head Coach in USA, and both she and her girlfriend Marie have had a wonderful reception.
Pia Sundhage is one of Swedens, and the worlds, most deserving soccer player. Sundhage has a record in International contests and she has made the most goals in the Swedish women’s team.
