Helsingborg is located by Öresund and has frequent ferry connections to Helsingør on the Danish side. Much of the city life is centred by the water, where you find the city theatre as well as Dunker's cultural hall. The city is receptive to new trends and there is a large selection of shopping and design. Helsingborg was founded in 1085 and a beautiful outing is Sofiero Castle with its fantastic gardens is recommended.
